Realistic effects the Fashoda Incident

Inspired by Onkel Willie`s TL. While I like it, I just dont see an escalated Fashoda Incident leading to an actual war. My guess is that it would alienate Britain and France at best, and lead to a quasi-frendship relationship between Germany and Britain at worst. I just cant imagine a premature WWI over this. Maybe the Morocco incident(s) would start WWI after this, but even that seems a tad unlikely.

So, what do you think?

PS: Yes, I searched it, and came up with nothing.

The thing is that the Morocco incidents where what ended up pushing Britain away from Germany and towards a friendship with France. If WWI starts over the first one then Britain could possibly still side with Germany. However if the first Morocco Crisis goes as in OTL the Britain is most likely to stay neutral over the whole thing until the very end so it can create a peace on its terms.

However we do have to count in butterflies so most likely nothing goes as in OTL.
