Suppose that Germany manages to eke out a decisive victory in at least the Western Front of WWI, before 1916. What are the terms, especially territorial exchanges?
My guesses for France are:
-Belfort is annexed by Germany.
-The northern region of the Meurthe-et-Moselle departement is annexed by Germany, giving them control of the Briey-Longwy mines. Thus, France's capability to rebuild its military and wage a revanche war is probably crippled.
-Perhaps the Occitans and Bretons receive autonomy, as a means of dividing France?
-A war indemnity is paid, of course.
-In case Italy stays mostly loyal to the CP, do they get any territory?
Now, Belgium is much more cloudy ground for me.
-Do they get annexed by Germany or does the country stay nominally free?
-If Germany decides to acquire the Congo alongside their plan to weaken France, will they decide to (forcibly) give territory to Belgium, such as the Nord and Calais departements?
One more question: what happens to Britain here? The germans can't possibly invade them, so my guess is that the terms towards them will be light.
