Those In Peril is an anthology of alternate naval history, I have been listening to it as an audiobook and one story in particular got me interested in possibly writing my own TL inspired by one of the stories! The one that has me thinking is called "Corsairs and Tensins(sp?)" Its about an alternate sinking of the Bismark in 1944 by a joint Japanese-American alliance of the coast of Somalia in an alternate WW2 where Japan and the USA have allied with a failing Russia to fight Germany and its allies who I believe have already taken control of Europe.
Sorry if thats hard to follow, in summary I am wondering if its at all plausible to have an American/Japanese alliance in this kind of scenario?
