Question for the forum on the Two-Sicilies

I thought so as well at first, but they also claim Portugal as well and the House of Bourbon has no claims to Portugal. The only "claim" I can find is King of the Algraves but not of all Portugal, yet Portugals flag/standard is also claimed.

Austria and Portugal are both there that early
Parents of Charles V were Ferdinand and Isabella (union of crowns of Castille and Aragon), whose arms as joint monarchs were

Fascinatingly, Portugal does NOT appear there.

It looks like Portugal got added by Charles V ruler of (not quite) everything.

That isn't Charles V's, this is. This one is Philip II's.

Just to continue being picking, his grand-parents were Ferdinand and Isabella. :p

I believe it is Charles' arms AS KING OF SPAIN. People had different arms depending on which hat they were wearing...

Oops. Thanks for the catch.
Oooh, I just realized that heraldry which is parted per cross (écartelées) according to both parents leave apparent the patrilineal and matrilineal ancestry, just as much as Y-chromosome and mDNA do in biology: look at that NW-SE diagonal of little Castiles, and that NE-SW diagonal of fleur-de-lis...

(OK, it is not a perfect match, because the arms of Charles V were not made in a perfectly consistent way).
