Question About Gunpowder Plot

Would a successful Gunpowder Plot, which blew up the House of Lords and the King, cause the idea of similar tactics to become more widespread in Europe and its colonies? And not just in political situations, but also in churches, mosques, schools, and the like?

In short, do you think a resoundingly successful Gunpowder Plot would foster an awareness of the effectiveness of proto-terrorism in countries that would hear about it, and what would the effects be?

And please, no discussion of whether or not the Plot is feasible or likely to succeed, let's just say it was a resounding success and reached all of its goals.

The Gunpowder Plot wasn't really a terrorist attack, in the sense of trying to deal a psychological blow for effect to change behaviour...more like a mass assassination attempt/intended opening for a revolt or coup.

So in that sense no one needed any lessons; political assassination was and remained a thing. The difference here was more scope by means technology. So, I suppose that might have changed method if it had come off, but then again that happened anyways, too.
