Quentin Roosevelt Lives

That's interesting, but not really on point. AIUI, at the time, CVs were named for ARW battles. (Yes, that leaves Hornet & Wasp, so maybe I'm full of it.:p) So...

The Hornet and Wasp were warships commissioned by the Continental Congress during the ARW, so apparently the battlecruisers were reviving ARW warship names. That would correctly mean that the CVs were named after ARW that were named after ARW battles.

Your post says "Returns from the Great War". If he were to survive what would've his accomplishments have been in the Great War?

If he survives the crash and is invalided home then things would be different than if he were to go on to become an Ace.

Maybe Quentin goes on to be a great innovator in early aviation?

My premise is that because Quentin survived the Great War TR would have stayed home instead of going off to Africa. He would have run for President after seeing the situation left by Taft and Wilson (both of whom he ran against), and would have received the 1920 Republican Nomination. He was very pro-Navy, building up battleships during his first two terms, and Quentin being a pilot would have led to an interest in Aircraft Carriers. Roosevelt was also popular in both Japan (he negotiated the end of the Russo-Japanese War), and in Germany. President Roosevelt might have wanted Germany to be defeated in the war, but would have been against the punitive and destructive peace that was force upon it by the vindictive allies.

I should have made Leonard Wood Vice President.

Quentin might have stayed in the Army Air Corps, rising to be a General and the first Chief of Staff of an Independent Air Force.
