Queen Elizabeth blocks all UK military involvement in the Middle East after Afghanistan

All UK military involvement in the Middle East after Afghanistan has been very controversial.

If the Queen read some of the reports and determined that Iraq doesn’t have WMD or that’s it not worth it, can she block it if she wants?

And after the UK is either burned out by Iraq or avoided fighting it and watched America struggle, if she blocks all UK military involvement in Syria and Libya, is that feasible given its lack of popular support?

Technically she could, realistically it would bring about one of the greatest constitutional crises in the UK's history and probably leads to the fall of the Monarchy.

Not its fall, but her replacement by Charles. She'd be forced to Abdicate. The PM would basically go to Buckingham and go "You're fired."

Not unless she somehow becomes Prime Minister

Sooo Nope

The Queen wouldn't do more than hint that "this might not be the best idea" to the PM of the day.

Actually blocking anything the government is trying to do would trigger a constitutional crisis, never mind a military intervention.

She has no de facto power to do this. Only to influence public opinion which would cause a constitutional crisis. They only way she might do it would be to abdicate forthwith to Charles and then speak openly on the subject.

Really? I think you've got a somewhat backwards idea of which of the two of them is more likely to shoot their mouth off, regardless of their roles.
