Q-Bam Historical Map Thread

We're gonna need more details than that, like the Point of Departure (PoD) from our history, and your ideas for what's going on with the butterflies flapping from that change and so forth. Hard to brainstorm if we don't know what's causing said storm :p
well the point of departure doesn't have much to do with the map but its John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson run together in 1824 I mean eventually there will be changes but for now am just a map of the world in 1824 which includes rivers and provincial borders

@Crazy Boris[1800] and @Ashtagon[1789] are the only ones I know of

Sioux, Pawnee, and Blackfoot are independent enough to be shown, but the Comanche aren't?

So I'm writing a alt hist that'll start in 1824 I just need help developing the map I can provide most of the province level maps that will be used to make it just need help developing the map itself anyone want to work on this with me?

Omniatlas.com balances it out by showing the bigger state's settlement and garrisons and then the areas of nomadic/semisettled control, all within the boundaries and provinces of the empire or Europeanized state (US, Canada, Argentina, Brazil): unfortunately you need to become a Patreon to access like 75% of their maps

I’ve been doing something like that with my more recent maps, omniatlas actually being one of my main sources for when I need that info, but it can be hard to find a lot of the time so I get why a lot of people don’t do it

August 3, 1492, the start of Columbus' first voyage

I did this same map in 2019, this is a massively improved version
Another lovely map for my collection!:happyblush
It's nice to see Ferrara so clearly. That being said, it would have been nicer to see the Swabian League more clearly - you know, not every state within the HRE has to be of the same color. I know you've given the differing principalities, duchies, whatever different colors on other maps. Would it be too hard to highlight the Swabian league with a nice shade of Fuchia?
Everyone knows and loves Fuschia...
Anyway, I now eagerly await for a map of the world on the day Theodoric, king of the Ostrogoths dies, or on the eve of the First Mithriditic War, or the 12th of January of 1945.
I would also like to see a map that has the Dominion of New England on it. I await for that too. Eagerly. Very eagerly.
Are those Hurons, or Ojibwes?
Also, who are those orange guys west of the Mongols? Too busy partying to check out for myself...

I considered coloring some of the states in the HRE, but I leaned towards not doing that until after 1648 when they became mostly-independent

I've got those dates written down on my to-do list, and I can add something that'll include New England too

Huron, and Oirat
