http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piotr_Stolypin#Assassination
This was the man know as Stolypin, He was a brilliant prime minister. Arguably the best RUssia had in the DUma, and he almost overthrew Rasputin, however he was assasinated, but he was the Tsar's closest confidate during this time period, and his land reforms were extremly succesfull, in fact Lenin himself remarked in 1911 that if Stolypin continued his policies the Marxists would fail in Russia, in fact the daughters of Karl MArx commited suicide because they realized communism would not prevail should Stolypin excist. SO in this TL Rasputin dies

Stolypin remains prime minister because the assasination attempt on his life fails, and he lives, leading RUssia to greatear glory so that OTL Russian revoulution is butterflied away. That's right ladies and gentlemen of AH.com I will accomplish the impossible The russian rev fails to happen with a pod after 1910

1911
September 1911: Stolypin was planning on going to Kiev despite political warnings of the extreme danger involved. At first Stolypin wanted to go but after being convinnced by Witte he decided Kiev was too dangerous for him to travel too. Another problem he faced was the Tsar.
Pyotr
Witte
In the SPring of 1911 Pyotr planned to resign however now Pyotor was rethinking his options. Pyotor realized that trouble was brewing and that Russia was a very unstable land. He realized that without him Russia would fall into chaos. Another problem was that scum Rasputin. Rasputin was hated by Pyotr who had this man banished to SIberia, Pyotr knew there was much opposition to him the Empress herself despised him for his anger against Rapsutin, and he knew things were spiralling out of control. But how to kill Rasputin he did not know. SO he turned to one person who hated Rasputin as much as him.
Prince Felix Felixovich Yusupov, Count Sumarokov-Elston, was the richest man in russia, owning over 38 estates across Russia, he had a vast tract of land in caucasius that was pouring out vast amounts of crude oil making him one of the richest men in Russia, he had despised Rasputin, another conspirator against Rasputin was
Sergei Michailovich Trufanov He was a priest who had initially backed Rasputin being a close advocate but after Rasputin raped a nun he was outraged, but got exiled by the Tsarina. The Three met at Pyotr room, where they discussed how to kill this hated enemy of Russia. Felix promised that he would use his resources to find out where Rasputin is and then have him murdered. The three agreed that as long as Rasputin lived RUssia was in trouble. AFter declining the invitation Tsar Nicolas was displeased with Pyotr but understood the situation. At Kiev on the streets was a strange sagelike man. He was none other than Grigori Rasputin who happened to have seen the carraige of the tsar, and as he rose a terrible event occured. A Marxist terrorist known as Ulyanovich threw a bomb at the Tsar's carraige, however it missed but exploded at the area where Rasputin stood. The blast shocked Rasputin as he lost his life. The greateast threat to Russia lay dead at Kiev. The encounter was a shock to Tsar Nicolas. In October Pyotr once again preceded at the meetings of the third duma. The third duma was conservative yet proved to be a useful asset to Russia. It was also created by Pyotr who advised the Tsar. Now that he was in office he decided to pass the Zemstvo once more. Although it had failed he decided to institute it to the southern Russian provinces. At fist the Tsar was concerned but after prompting by Pyotr the Tsar agreed after being told it would stop revolts an prevent the bomb blasts from occuring. The tsarina was an interesting character, she despised Pyotr and fretted over Alexay the boy was sick with Hemophelia and suddenly on October 20 1911 the young boy faced a major Hemophelia attack that left him lifeless. For hours the whole royal family stood by Alexay's side as the physicians tried everything, but at 11:50 p.m the young boy died. The blow was shocking to the imperial family. Nicolas was flabbergasted, his only son lay dead. The Tsarina was overcome by shock and soon became incapable of Movement as she became a shell of her former self. On October 21st a great funeral was held mourning the passing of the young boy. Nearly all of Europe's royal family offered condolences. Trufanov was soon put back in charge of his original position whule Felix and Pyotr became close friends. With the royal family in chaos for the moment, Pyotr had everything under his control. He then proceeded to reform Russia before it was too late. By late October the marxists were barely in any form of Power. Lenin was right his grand design was slipping from his grasp.
