Prussia keeps Poland

What if for whatever reason at the end of the Napoleonic wars, Prussia regains the part of Poland Russia took instead of given the Rhineland?

Without the Ruhrgebiet Prussia will have a much smaller industry - it still has upper Silesia of course but that is nowhere as significant as the Ruhr. With more landlords and more Poles it will also be even more conservative than IOTL.
It would be important to know what happend with the Rhineland, is it a single state or does it become split? The first is more likely since the Powers wanted to prevent France from expanding again.

What will be very interesting is the German Unification. IOTL it was impossible to unite Germany without Prussia. ITTL the Paulskirche Parlament might decide to form a third Germany aside from both Prussia and Austria.

I'd suggest that your headline is really "Poland Keeps Prussia." Because once nationalism takes off, it will be the Poles that dominate the nation.

They didn't before. There's more than enough Germans, and Germans in the army, to keep down any Poles, and have a comprehensive Germanization program.

Yes, because it were the hungarian and Slavs who dominated Austria... oh, wait. It would be a multiethnic nation and hence not subject to ONE nationalism.

To be fair, the Austrian Empire could play off the Slavs and Hungarians against each other, while Prussia have... the Wends?

I think thats overrated. Only the Croats were really in Hungarian territory, after all. The political centre (notjust geographcially, Vienna, but structurally) simply was in the ethnic German lands...

Originally Prussia had thought about this: Only West Prussia becomes Prussian, but all of Saxony is annexed, and the rest of Poland united in personal union with Prussia.
