Proxy Wars in American/Nazi Cold war

Well what kind of German victory do we have here?

Were they victorious over the Soviets? A cease-fire? Did they even invade?
Are Allied troops in Italy?
Has Torch been launched? Or have the Germans taken the Suez Canal?
Are Spain and Portugal in the Axis camp?

Given a German outright victory, with an empire from the Bay of Biscay to the Urals, I think the proxies would most likely be German supported fascists in Central and South America vs. U.S backed leftist or centralist ones, while in Africa you would have U.S backed anti-European partisans vs. the colonial administrators. I think the most interesting case would be in South Africa, where I think the government might have German support, even though it is a Commonwealth nation. It might be an 'allegiance to the highest bidder' situation. Also, it would be interesting to see the British reaction and the effect on Anglo-American relations to an American backed anti-colonial insurgency, given the two are still close, or even Allies.

With a truce of some sort, maybe where Allied boots are in North Africa, or even Italy, and the Soviets have also agreed to a truce, you would see more of an insurgency in Europe proper, like in Yugoslavia, France and Greece. The Allies might try and establish a ring around the new Europe, a different kind of containment, while also supporting partisans in areas like the Balkans, France, and Poland. Germany would also support there own partisans, maybe in Egypt, of Syria and Iraq. What you possibly might get is a Korean war-style conflict in Palestine. Now that would be interesting.

In the Paradoxplaza game forums, someone is doing a great AAR timeline called the Prisoners of Silence, which includes a war like this, and is very interesting.

South America seems almost a given. But how about South Africa, with the Nazis entangled in a fight against the Black majority and aiding the Afrikaaner Government?
