If there isn't any ethnic cleansing stuff, I think it would demographically be something like 30% Turkish, 30% Armenian, 25% Kurdish, 15% other (including Greek and Arab). Makes me wonder how stable it would be as a US state.

I can imagine most of the Turks leaving. As the Ottoman Empire has just been dismembered, they’d want to rejoin Turkey.

Thanks! And yes it seems so, although perhaps with more autonomy than a condomium (edit: so yes, as you say, an independent condomium).
Moch was very much in favour of pan-European co-operation and wanted Britain to be part of the agreement too.

You can read his works here but my French is not good enough to read them in any detail; I mostly worked on the translation of others.

That's a pretty map

But smh, why does it have to take territory only from French territory (ok occupied at the time but still part of traditional France), at least he could have balanced it with baden and palatinate/saarland

Speaking as an actual Californian, those numbers are unrealistic, especially the higher ones. The whole "Yes California" thing is basically one dude who moved to the state just a few years before starting his campaign. Most of the "support" is a combination of anger at the 2016 election result and "lol, sure, why not". I suspect the higher numbers for Texas are the same kinda situation.

And no, I'm not "shooting the messenger".

The Shatt-al-Arab forms part of the border between Iraq and Khuzestan so Saddam would get control of it if he got Khuzestan.
