The Principality of Theodoro was situated on the coast of the Crimean peninsula. Connected culturally and historically to the Empire of Trebizond and of course Byzantium it finally fell to the Ottomans after Constantinople fell. Many historians consider it to be the last surviving vestige of the Eastern Roman Empire and in turn the Roman Empire.
With a Pod after Constantinople’s fall (gives you little room for manoeuvre) could this tiny “Greco/Roman/Gothic” enclave have survived for much longer than in the Otl?
