Queen Elizabeth the II has ruled England for 65 years. Elizabeth's only sibling was Princess Margaret. Margaret was a bit of a scandal to the Royal Family during her lifetime. Considered a bit of a "loose woman", Margaret was known to have had multiple affairs during her lifetime. When her sister became Queen, a young man, Peter Townsend, who had shown interest in Princess Margaret, divorced his wife in order to marry Margaret. Luckily that didn't take. She was also a notorious smoker, and passed away from complications in 2002.

So here's my question. For arguments' sake, lets just say something happened to Elizabeth before she became queen. Margaret is left as the sole heir and becomes Queen of England in 1952. How does England change from then to now with Margaret on the throne instead of Elizabeth?
