Prince Harry Not Charles' Son?

We do have republican chaps in Parliament. But the OP isn't suggesting that people are suspicious of Harry's parentage as IOTL, but that it is common knowledge that ATL Harry is not Charles' son. If such a situation comes about, I think it's pretty plausible that ATL Harry's going to end up out of the running.

I'd agree; most likely Harry would voluntarily concede that he's out of the running once his parentage became public knowledge in exchange for still enjoying a small amount of royal patronage.

If it were true about the parentage, Harry still has the Spencer family pedigree which is more venerable than the Saxe-Coburg-Gothas and has the added kudos of being English.

Actually he does look like Hewitt. Quite noticably in fact. But as another said, it is in no-one's interest to find out for sure. Maybe DNA testing in a century or so?

I don't think we will ever know for sure, after all in whose interest would it be for the Royals to do a DNA test, and if they did would 'we' believe the result.
The thing is - you wouldn't necessarily think he was William's brother - they do not look that much alike. Yet, comparing him with Charles the difference is even more marked, and it is not just the 'redish-hair' - the bone structure & shape of the face is different.
Perhaps, Harry 'knows' that's why he is more prepared to put himself in harm's way, and follow a career path more akin to Hewitt.
Maybe some non-British TV company will do photographic analysis of the people concerned, and see where the 'match' is!?

I think we know that Hewitt only met Diana after he was born...


He does actually look like Edward though, and his grandfather.
