Prince Frederick - Youngest Brother of George III of GB - How did he die?

I'm trying to work out a succession of Great Britain if George III was killed before having children.

I know he had three brothers (mainly dissappointments) whom lived to adulthood but does anyone know how the youngest brother died in 1765?

Thanks.

I thought his youngest brother was Prince William, Duke of Cumberland. Prince Frederick was George III's second eldest son who died during the reign of George IV.

George II's oldest son was Frederick (whom he hated).

Frederick died young at about 40 without taking the throne. He had a number of children:

Augusta, Duchess of Brunswick
George III
Prince Edward, Duke of York
Princess Elizabeth
Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester
Prince Henry, Duke of Cumberland
Princess Louisa
Prince Frederick
Caroline Matilda, Queen of Denmark and Norway

George III had four younger brothers:::
Edward died young without marrying.
William Henry had issue but it died out in one generation.
Henry married but had no children.
Prince Frederick died in his teens.

I'm looking for a blank slate for an alternative line.

Frederick may be my guy. If he died of influenza or pnemonia, then I can work with that.

If he had a congenital disease, then maybe not.

From birth, the Prince suffered from poor health and unstable physical constitution, which greatly restricted him in his activities. He therefore concentrated mainly on books and the acquisition of knowledge; according to contemporary estimates Friedrich Wilhelm was intellectually very promising. He died at the age of 15 in Leicester House, and was buried on 4 January 1766 in Westminster Abbey. - from the German wiki article on him

Thanks, a couple of George III's sisters were in similar poor health and died in their teens. THe 1750's and 1760's was a rough time for the house of Hanover.

I wonder if this is some sort of genetic condition?

It didnt' really move on to George III's children.

Two of the boys died as toddlers and Princess Amelia was sickly most of her life.

But that could be many things: asthma, TB, polio, etc.
