President JFK Died Today Of A Stroke, Any Thoughts?

Yes, I know his name keeps turning up in alternate history scenarios, but I would primarily like to know how he would have reflected on the world post his second term ending in 1968.
There was a series of documentaries on the Kennedy family and specifically one on how JFK changed politics on BBC 4 last night. I was surprised to find at least according to Pat Buchannan that Nixon had much more empathy for the civil rights struggle than JFK, who only came into contact with black people as valets and waiters, by all accounts. How would he have perceived the world post 1968, what advice would he give to future presidents, it seems Wild Bill often listened to advice from Nixon, so they do talk to each other! What sort of ulogies would we hear today on his passing? How would he have reacted to the killing of his brother RFK? Would we have a president Obama, would the social agenda/civil rights agenda have got as far so soon as it did IOTL under LBJ, who never became president now.

Are you asking us:
WI JFK died today, in 2011 at the age of 94 rather than 11-22-1963 as per OTL? How he would have reflected on (responded to events in) the world post 1969 when his 2nd term (had he won reelection in '64) would have ended?

j.f.k

president kennedy is remembered for taking off us off the federal reserve, however he withdrew advisors from veitnam and when the south lost to veitcong it hurt the democratic party. bobby became a supreme court judge. ted had a drunk driving acident and retired early from politics. j.f.k hosted his own t.v. series from 76 to 81 where he talked about politics. after leaving office nixon and kennedy became good friends and the 2 were seen together at various charity events. sargent shriver his in law was elected president after serving two terms as new jersey governor.he serve from 89 to 97. bill clinton served one term but was defeated by a republican that would never of been elected had bush defeated shriver. we had a string of g.o.p rebupcicans winning the presidential election till the obama defeated the current g.o.p when obama won .jack kennedy called and congralated him. soon afterwords jfk j.r was sworn in senator of new york.he died but bobby is still on the federal bench. his son joe 2 is still in congress.

I was glad they pushed the Moon landing up to January of 1969 so he could still be President when they landed, instead of having Nelson Rockefeller being President during those events. It was the first time in a while that we saw 3 Presidents in a row having 2 terms, Ike from 1953-1961, Kennedy from 1961-1969 and Rockefeller from 1969-1977.

Lord Grattan,
You have more or less got it in a nutshell, but I would also add in what way would he have advised/influenced future presidents? It's widely known that they do seek advice from former office holders, You would wonder what he would have told my namesake in a certain time of trouble for him!
He lived to be a great age, I wonder did his marriage survive beyond the Camelot years and would his children have had even more of a political prescence and what of TFK and as I said how would he have reacted to RFK's murder and what would have become of his vice president LBJ. Also at what stage would his insatiable sexual appetite have been made public.
Mind you given his health issues which were relatively stable in his first term, it's probably unlikely he would have seen 94, though males in positions of power usually live to very great ages!

DBWI stands for "double-blind what if". It's the taking of an event that happened in our time line (OTL) then writing a "what if" as if you lived in an alternate time line (ATL) where that event did not happen -

For example, in an alternate world where someone walks in on Lee Harvey Oswald just before he shoots JFK, thus foiling the attempt, the question could be asked, "what if Lee Harvey Oswald's plot to kill JFK had been carried out successfully?". Next then, while writing as if in that alternate time line, you would label the thread "DBWI: Oswald's plot to kill JFK had succeeded?".

Your original question I saw more as a "what if JFK had lived into old age and become an elder statesman figure" type question, rather then a DBWI one.
