There's a theory that Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer, (Brv. Maj.
Gen.), wanted to run for President in 1876, and that the Battle of the Little
Bighorn, (Greasy Grass, to the Sioux, Cheyenne, and Arapaho), if it had been successful, would have propelled Custer to victory in the 1876 presidential election. The title's correct. So now the question: What if Custer
had survived the Battle of Little Bighorn, and ran for President?
