President Garret Hobart?

Garret Hobart was William McKinley's first vice-president. He died of heart disease in 1899, leading to Teddy Roosevelt replacing him as VP and becoming President when McKinley was killed. Now let's say that Hobart has better heart health. Assuming he's renominated in 1900 and the McKinley assassination isn't butterflyed away, what would a Hobart presidency be like?

I can't imagine he'd push the Progressive policies of Roosevelt. Hobart and McKinley were very close. He'd probably mostly continue McKinley's policies, maybe even serving mostly as a caretaker President and not run for reelection.
