Preliminary discussion re new collaborative Hussite timeline

I know Hussite timelines have been attempted, and to some extent done, by others on this forum before, but they`ve mostly been short. People have considered, perhaps rightly so, that a group of Czech, Polish and Moravian heretics who were somewhat divided among themselves, too, could maybe hold out a decade or so longer than IOTL but they`d ultimately lose against the allied kingdoms and empires of Catholic Europe. . In that time, butterflies could have been immense, but that`d mostly be a Late Middle Ages timeline no longer having anything to do with Hussites and Radical Early Reformation. So I can understand why kasumigenx and Zioneer stopped continuing their timelines after max. 25-30 thread posts.

But the idea of a strong and lasting Hussite heritage still won`t let go of me. I think there are unearthed potentials here. The 1430s were a time of widespread, but geographically isolated revolts. Is there no way of linking them? In Southern Poland, the Hussite movement was much less troubled by factionalism - is there no way to instill greater unity among the Bohemian groups? Around the time when the Hussites finally defeated themselves, there were open succession wars going on in Poland-Lithuania and Hungary - isn`t there more room for weird alliances?

I don`t have enough time or knowledge to write another whole timeline by myself, so, instead of necroing threads like this one, this one or this one, I decided to see if there are people interested in collaborating.

We should brainstorm about the rules of the game when it´s clear if anyone, and if so, who, is interested in joining in.

Topic-wise, I propose the following limitations:

  • Oreb and Tabor exist (so no extremely early PoD)
  • No Lipany in 1434 nor at any other time in the next two decades.
So... anyone interested?
