Pre-Imperial British Monarchial Epithets

hey, all. i decided recently that i would differentiate English/Scottish monarchs from the later British ones in my ASB ATL by giving all monarchs between Harold Godwinson (who defeats William of Normandy ITTL) and the first British Emperor (an equivalent to George IV) by giving them all epithets. most of these monarchs are fictional characters while some are historical, but almost all of them are based on historical figures, so looking at their OTL history will work as far as discussion is concerned for the most part. i wanted to get some help and feedback in designing these epithets. for a bit of context, up until a noted historical king, the Witenagemot is the driving force behind who succeeds the previous monarch rather than using primogeniture. i still need some for:

Edmund Godwinson (one of Harold's elder sons)
Magnus Godwinson (Harold's younger son)
Aethelwulf (entirely fictional)
*Henry II of England
*Arthur I the Duke of Brittany (reimagined as an Italian; he's adopted by the ruling family)
*Edward II of England
*Henry IV of England
*Henry V of England
*Henry VI of England
*Richard III of England
Henry VII of England
Henyr VIII of England (i'm thinking something along the lines of "the Divider" because he split the Anglican Church from Rome)
John Dudley of Northumberland (an instance of the Witen choosing the king)
Edward III
Mary I
Elizabeth I
Henry IX (entirely fictional, Elizabeth's son by Robert Dudley)
*Charles I of England
*Charles II of England
*George I of Great Britain
*George II of Great Britain
*George III of Great Britain
*George IV of Great Britain

now before anything else, i'm not looking for any (more) geographical epithets; those are the official epithets and will more specifically refer to a given monarch's homeland. what i'm looking for are slightly informal epithets that may well postdate the respective monarch entirely.

As you're going to be taking those Saxon guys well beyond the sources, you're the best judge for them. Others (if you're staying closely to OTL):
Henry II - anything wrong with OTL 'Curtmantle'? Or maybe 'the Turbulent'
Edward II - 'the Limp-Wristed' would be fittingly homophobic for the time period :D
Henry IV - 'the Usurper'/'the Kingslayer'/'the Appellant' and then later in life 'the Repellent'
Henry V - easy: 'the Great'/'the Bold', etc. Any of those kiss-arse cognomen that all the other kings had, really
Henry VI - 'the Simple'/'the Child'/'the Readepted'
Richard III - 'the Utter C*nt'/'the Murderer'/'the Maligned'/'Crouchback'
Henry VII - 'the Efficient'/'the Cunning'/'the Inexorable'
Henry VIII - 'the Splitter'/'the Much-Married'
John II Dudley - 'How Can This John Be Worse Than The Last One?!'/'the Democrat' (with negative connotations at the time)
Edward III (I presume this would be OTL EVI?) - 'the Proselyte'/'the Good Brother'
Bloody Mary. Next!
Gloriana, The Virgin Queen, Good Queen Bess, 'the Whore' if she goes around with Dudley
Charles I - 'the Headless'/'the Papist'/'the Francophile'/'the Hipster-Bearded'
Charles II, the Merrie Monarch
George I - ...'the Dull'?
George II - 'the Even Duller'/'the Patron'/'the Musical'
George III - 'the Fruitcake'/'the Mad'/'the Unfortunate'
George IV - 'the Dissolute'/'the Libertine'/'the Regent'/'the Morbidly Obese'/'the Hopelessly-Drivelly-Can't-Write-For-Toffee-Crappy-Butler-Weed'

Well, the Virgin Queen or the Regicide aren't gonna work for Elizabeth (who'll be simply Elizabeth, no number due to there not yet being a Queen Liz II; same for Mary) or Charles I (if he gets his head chopped).

Though "the Young King" or "the Boy King" perhaps for Edward III (if he's your equivalent of Edward VI), same for Henry VI (BTW there's a numbering error with your Henry's, since there's no Henry III).

"The Catholic" for Mary, and perhaps "the Foreigner" for the duke of Brittany? Perhaps "the Severan" for Henry VIII or just as some biographies on OTL Henry VIII refer to him "Bluebeard"? "Prince Hal" for Henry V and "King Harry" for Henry VII. I like Space Oddity's "Grim Ned" nickname for the duke of York in his NBTTR TL, so maybe for one of the Edwards/Edmunds.

yeah, i think i accidentally left out some info concerning succession :p i actually specifically numbered the monarchs named Henry so that Henry VIII would still be Henry VIII in his time, but as a slight change there's actually two accepted forms of numbering for the Henrys because TTL's fictional Henry I is actually named Anrai (he's an Irishman--it's a long story) but was known as Henry during his reign, with numbering changes being later retcons as modern historians ITTL recognize that they should refer to the man by his actual name (Anrai is the Irish form of Henry). incidentally, there is a Henry II and III, but they're analogies to Edward III and Edward the Black Prince, respectively. they just already had epithets so i didn't list them ;) :p

yes, Edward III here is OTL's Edward VI, Henry VIII and Jane Seymour's son. i ended up removing some of the previous Edwards from history to account for butterflies (with their equivalents being descendants of Harold Godwinson as opposed to Plantagenets and two Yorkists)

i'll definitely have to go over the list of monarchs again and adjust anyone that was "the First" without any "the Second" in that listing, since after that they'd be Emperors, not Kings, etc.

i filled out most of the ones i'd listed. the ones i'm still missing are:
-- Edmund Godwinson
-- Magnus Godwinson
-- (fictional) Aethelwulf
-- *Henry II (only because i haven't yet looked further into what i decided for him, and thus have yet to see if Curtmantle or similar would qualify)
-- *Edward II (i'm leaning towards "the Odd" since he preferred to do menial labor for fun rather than engage in aristocratic pastimes)
-- *Henry IV (again mainly because i need to look over what i wrote for him again in order to see if Kingslayer/Usurper/etc would still qualify)
-- (fictional) Henry IX
-- *George I (maybe i'll give him an epithet based on his birthplace? for some context, his equivalent isn't of the House of Hanover)

thanks for your help so far :)
