Post WW3 Military novels?

Have, have read, and have enjoyed both books. Neither book has that much military action in it, but what there is tells a powerful story.

I encourage anyone and everyone to read them. Should be available at the library or cheaply on Amazon. Believe reading them would provide a great deal of food for thought.

Thanks! I've read Alas Babylon - it's actually set near a town my aunt and uncle lived in. And I'm eager to check out your story, Dunning!

It's been a while since I read it, but Resurrection Day is a really good post-WWIII novel. The author put a lot of detail into how the post-WWIII American society operated.
