Post-Alternate-Imjin War

After a long time searching threads, it seems to me that the general concensus amongst Alternate Historians is that after a successful invasion of Korea in the Imjin War, the Japanese shogunate would eventually fall apart.
My question is: How long would that take?
And more importantly, could Japan 'export' its Samurais and Daimyos, and maybe even its culture, by then? What about a Korean Shogun?
To top it all of, if this is possible, we might see a Korean Naval Empire, and even industrialisation in Korea (as mentioned in another thread somewhere) where bored peacetime Samurais either sponser or become merchants and inventors (IOTL Japan could of been the first industrialised nation in the world had it not been for its dogma against merchants and its isolationism).
For the purpose of the TL that I'm writing at the moment, lets assume the invasion of Korea is a success - and for those of you about to say its not possible, there's no Admiral Yi and China has been distracted by an invasion from the North.

Japanese culture, unless you mean Ainu culture,

Basically IS Korean. The Japanese are 98% ethnically Korean. And the Koreans and the Japanese HATE each other. In the Imjin War, the Japanese slaughtered the Koreans, because the Koreans had not fought a ground war in decades, while the Japanese were butchering each other merrily in Civil Wars. But the Japanese had several long term disadvantages. One, the Japanese did not fight at sea well. It was a cultural thing. Only Wako/pirates, and merchants used the sea as a primary way of life. The Japanese were VERY insular at that time in history, and did not trade for items unless they really needed them. Read Sho-gun for an idea of the situation a decade or so after Hideyoshi’s death. Land warfare was all for the Japanese warrior caste. And the Japanese were quite good at land warfare. Korea was quite good at naval warfare, for different reasons. Two: China will come in as soon as the Japanese take Seoul. And the Ming, while decadent, are still a HUGE empire with a good amount of experience at fighting land warfare. And Japan’s goal in attacking Korea was to attack China. So China will have to fight Japan sometime if Hideyoshi gets his way. Why not fight in Korea?. Three: guerilla forces will be organized against Japan. They were OTL and they will be in TTL unless you have a POD that adresses them. Four: Admiral Yi Sun-Shin. This man is AMAZING. 27 naval battles, NOT ONE DEFEAT. Not even Nelson or Rodney could boast that record. The only time Korean naval forces are defeated, Sun was not there to lead them, and THIS stuffed shirt idiot was:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Won_Gyun

Battle here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Chilchonryang

and here is the battle of Myeonryang on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Myeongnyang

Blast, wiki is down, but I found this interesting video on youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ExfTHG266M&feature=related about the battle of Myeonryang, in which 13 Korean warships took on 300 plus Japanese vessels. Yi SUN SHINN!! Lord of the Ocean!

Art, thanks for all the links :D.
Well, maybe the fact that Japanese culture is basically Korean, the transfer of Samurais and the like could be easier. China was distracted by a large enough threat, I'll make it happen, and Admiral Yi was never born (or anything else to the same effect).
Still, just assuming Japan did win, and China was busy, how long would it take for the Japanese Shogunate to collapse? I wanted the transfer of Samurais and the like, because there seems to be alot of Japan or China wanking TLs, but everybody seems to ignore Korea :(.
Plus, I've recently fallen in love with East Asian culture, and Chinese/Japanese/Korean architecture is just amazing.
