I know there's been a thread about the USSR winning the Cold war recently, but most of the suggestions involved removing Stalin and/or communism.
So, with a POD after 1945, can the USSR win the Cold War? Not just fail to collapse, but win - either militarily or economically.
You are not allowed to have the USSR embrace capitalism, but profit-sharing co-operatives owned and managed by their workers would be acceptable, as would any other "non-capitalist" form of market economy you can think of. The date at which the victory of the proletariat is achieved can be whatever year you like, even in the future.
