Possible White Settler Colonies In Africa Getting Their Own Independence

Outside of South Africa and Rhodesia, are there any other white settler colonies in Africa that could have gotten their own independence without having to actually share political power with Black or Arab Africans?

I am thinking several possible contenders could be one of the following:

1) An Italian Libya if Italy stays neutral in World War Two.
2) Kenya, or at least the White dominated part of Kenya.
3) Possibly a French Algeria/Tunisia if the Germans 'win' World War Two (as in maintain control over continental Europe, defeats Soviet Union).
4) Possibly a Portuguese Angola, I don't know how'd they get their independence without sharing power with non Portuguese, unless they tried to form an independent nation solely along the coast or something.

A possible scenario for the Portuguese colonies might be the Carnation Revolution being pushed back a few years. The rebels in the colonies were really on the ropes in 1974 (minus Guinea-Bissau) and a few more years could make the colony secure enough that the estado novo might flee there when the revolution hits the mainland eventually.

Somewhat implausible, but it doesn't have to be independent forever.

Maybe have an alliance between Rhodesia, South Africa and Portugal to stay in Africa. It'll piss everybody off, but mutual security and a shared counter insurgency command could turn the tide on what were surprisingly close campaigns.

Southern Mozambique breaking away and forming the Republic of Laurentia?

Namibia getting independence from SA, but under the rule of white Namibians?

What was the percentage of White Nambians compared to Black Nambians? Also, wouldn't it be in the best interest of White Nambians to stay in a union with South Africa if their goal is continued apartheid?

Not sure what it was in the 1980s, but white Namibians make up about 6% of the population now.

Yeah, but South Africa could 'give' Namibia independence but it remains under the rule of white Namibians. Would be interesting to see if any other countries would recognise this or consider this white-governed Namibia as a de facto homeland.

The challenge is that all of these "white" colonies were entirely dependent on cheap black labour. If the blacks leave, the agricultural production fails overnight.

I'd take issue with saying Rhodesia got independence under white rule, seeing as though it was the UDI that enshrined white rule, they were an unrecognised state and capitulated after a bloody civil war.

As to the OP, maybe have the Protectorate and Colony of Kenya become independent as seperate entities rather than unified as the Republic? The interior becomes the Republic of Kenya and the coastal Protectorate becomes the white ruled Mombasa State?

It was de facto independent so I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking of them as such.

Fair point I suppose but given the means it was obtained and how it ended, it's maybe not the best example to follow.

Possible White dominated Kenya but I doubt it will last too long as it hasn't got wealth or population of SA
