Possible state of the British Army in 1914 if Second Boer War had been avoided?

Assuming a resolution of the causes of the Second Boer War that avoided military conflict, how might the British Army be organized and equipped in the runup to WWI? Would it be significantly less prepared, or would the changes made between 1902-1914 have happened anyway?

This thread may help you. Most of the OTL 1914 artillery, along with the spitzer bullet for the .303, were due to the Boer War, along with much of the training and the Haldane reforms, but some other kind of reform might still show up later after certain crises and the Entente Cordiale. It's just that some deficiencies would not be apparent and be fixed in those reforms.
