Possible Reform Party Congressional Candidates?

Maybe the RP will appeal to protectionists on either side of the aisle, the few who oppose NAFTA? I can see it as being the big issue for the party, while other planks of the platform like balancing the budget or getting rid of the electoral college would (sadly) be pet issues.

Also, an interesting analysis:

If Ross Perot had continued helping to pay for the the Reform Party infrastructure, it may have lasted. However, at the end of the day, it was largely an alter-ego for his personal agenda. As soon as some in the party disagreed with his heavy-handed control -- through the party's national committee -- he simply walked away from it. In fact, he did almost everything possible to thwart Jesse Ventura from gaining any degree of control over the party (even though Ventura was the party's highest elected official) simply because Ventura was a person of fairly high name recognition and Perot -- by his actions -- preferred to destroy the party through internal fights rather than let anyone else independent of the Perot allies have any say in anything.
