So, this is my first post, and I wanted to bring my idea here to seek for suggestions and critics from you guys, who are much more professional than me, thus making my own alternate world plausible.
The idea is that, in 499 BC, the expedition to the island Naxos operated by the tyrant of Miletus, Aristagoras, succeed, thus the Persians slowly gained control of the island, with it as a important foothold for its potential to develop agriculture (potatoes,yay!) as food supply, the Persians are easier, and more willing, to launch a series of invasions towards the Greeks much earlier.
And the Greeks, who although has been alerted when the Persians take hold on the Naxos, were failed to defend their homeland due to the pincer attack from the Persians both on the land of Thrace and in the large fleets from Naxos which were using the island-hopping strategy.Butterfiles would files away, from the Greeks fleeing from the Persians to find refuges around the Mediterranean, and a Macedonian, assuming that he was able came to birth, who were talented to became a great tactician, would eventually brings a lot of changes.....
