Possible alternative names for Scottish Lowlands

As the title suggests, what are the other possible names for the Scottish Lowlands aside from "Strathclyde and Lothians"?

(I'm thinking of Burghland because of the towns that developed in the said region, but sounds really ridiculous.)

It depends a lot from the TL we're talking on.
With no Davidian Revolution, and an earlier English focus on Northern Britain, you may have an equivalent to Welsh Marches.

Lowlands being then known as Borderlands, (Scot) Marches, etc.

You could as well rely on the gaelic name : Ghalldachd, land of the foreigners. Either by translitteration (Garadand/Garadland?) or by translation trough Scot or Northern English (Ootland/Outlands?)
