possibility of the U.S. presidents term limit being abolished

in todays politics would it be a possible thought for them to remove the amendment limiting the president to two terms.
 
ASB. I think in any era, it would take a combination of a President with immense personal popularity, a severe crisis, and effective solutions that resonated with those affected. Basically FDR 2.0. There's a reason that in the 150 years before the amendment very few Presidents sought a third term and only one actually got one. It's very rare in this country to find a President the public still loves after 8 years, much less loves enough to give another 4 or 8 to.
