What if Portugal had gotten the Rif rather than Spain? Perhaps the UK agrees to support Portuguese colonial claims in places like the Rif and Casamance as part of the pink map resolution?
For Portugal to have a major chance it would of required Portugal to of received Ceuta in 1640 when it separated from the union. Therefore it had a prior presence in North Africa. Then in 1770s Marques Pombal does not return magazao to Morocco. Now Portugal has two enclaves and could in the scramble and pink map problem get part of morocco as compensation.
