First, I doubt there will be a comic book craze in the ATL, especially considering that many of the leaders of the American comic book movement were actually Jewish. Consider that Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Joel Schuster, and Will Eisner were all Jewish. Without their contributions, it is hard to picture comics achieving any resemblance to OTL...
In the ATL, consider the idea that with the 1960s/1970s, you will have a large group of young "Baby Boomers" who will be exploring their spiritual identities. As such, you can expect after 1968 on the one hand, neo-pagan groups such as the Asatru Free Assembly, Odinist Fellowship, and National Socialist Kindred. This would be under the influence of writers such as Miguel Serrano and Julius Evola. This could provide a parallel to the "Age of Aquarius" and "counter-culture" of OTL. On the other side of the aisle, could be the rise of the "Jesus Generation" evangelical movement. To make things interesting, would be the rise of the "Jesus Army" which was the arm of the American Christian evangelical movement in Europe starting in 1972. In the ATL, they could be seen as a "counter-revolutionary" movement in the ATL.
In terms of science fiction, consider the pulp science-fiction of the
Perry Rhodan series to serve as an initial model. One site has shown a "Commander McClane" and the "Orion 8" spacecraft exploring new worlds in the 1960s. One can certainly check out:

Also, cheesy musicals aimed at youth are going to be made in the ATL. In OTL, even the East Germans developed cheesy musicals similar to the vein of "West Side Story" and "Haispray" (minus the liberal social advocacy):
