(Pop Culture) Challenge: Make bronies more widespread

(reposting this thread after a mistake in forums.)

So, i am here to admit something. I'm a brony-lite, which means that i like My Little Pony alongside other pop culture stuff such as Star Wars and... Well, this. Alternate history and cartography.
So i've been imagining a different world. I've imagined a society with a "new" cultural group, the bronies themselves, expressed in the form of adolescents, much more equally distributed among gender, dressed up in colourful clothes, colourful and stylized hair reminiscent of the ponies in the show, and outright cartoonish behavior. Their doctrine is to be as friendly and happy as possible, to love and tolerate, and to only oppose more seriously those who defend the "lack of friendship", such as conservatives, skinheads, and others. Oh, and to provide good fun and advice to children, which earns their respect from pediathrists. These "other bronies" and their visual culture would be as widespread as somewhat in a midde ground between emos and hippies, as opposed to the very niche culture they are IOTL.
My question is: how could the brony community be more inclusive and widespread like this? Should they take the controversies appointed at them ("rainbow dash is a stealth lesbian", etc.) to heart and gain the respect of the LGBT community or at least people with a high level of social liberalism? Should they be more active in their ideas for the show they watch, possibly providing more quality for the cartoon and possibly resulting in a larger affected demographic?

This is the first time that I ever heard of this term. It does seem weird that grown like to watch cartoon made for little girls.

As for their political involment, I really do not see a way for a fandom to have any meaningfull influence at this liberal craze that seems to run rampant all over the western world.

Grown men dressing like cartoons I do not have any problem with, but these extreme liberals are terrible.

Money. Some rich dude (billion plus) who is totally a brony needs to bankroll the political aspects via a super PAC or something. That's the only remotely plausible answer I can come up with.
