The worship of El and Yahueh continues in all the tribes of Jacob regardless, and the distinction between the two gods is recognized through the consolidation of the tribes under the rule of Saul, the kingdom's fracture, leaving Israel and Judah separate kingdoms, the Assyrian war which saw Israel destroyed, and the Babylonian captivity.
