RUSSIAN CONQUEST OF CONSTANTINOPLE!

Anyone...?

"The Patriarch of Moscow is so rude, and lacks of delicacy. He doesn't enjoy the most raffined hobbies, such as epistolary romances or spliting Poland-Lithuania. That's why he will be fired and replaced by the Patriarch of Constantinople." Empress Catharina "Shield of all Russias" after personnaly killing the Ottoman Emperor during a swordfighting duel, therefore earning all the European Territories of the former Ottoman Empire.

Revive an Empire/State that existed from before 1900: British Empire is allowed as it existed before 1900. But a Pahlavi Persia for example isn't as it was established in 1925.

So the winners are Byzantine empire, Roman Empire, Ottoman empire (9.1%), and then some form of Persian Empire (9.1%).

I think the first two are over done. The positive impact on the world of restoring the Ottomans and Persians could be huge. The Middle East needs powerful, stable and prosperous rule by indigenous peoples for a few centuries to get back on its feet.

No idea why Byzantines are so popular. They spent virtually their entire history in decline, produced little to no innovation in a thousand years, and failed to maintain a consistent hold over their core territories.

The Minoan Cretan Trade Empire so we can finally translate linear A.

But use ASBs to transfer it (and it's colonies) wholesale to present day from 1643 BCE to make it interesting.

Gives a whole new meaning to coming back with a bang.

I voted other because there are two timelines I would be interested in seeing.

The first would be related to the Poland-Lithuania option but is not the same thing: Poland-Hungary-Croatia in an ATL where the Crusade of Varna didn't split the succession.

The second would be, like the others, a surviving Brazillian Empire, maybe in a timeline where the emperor didn't lose his sons and go into a depression.
