Well, i've recently had a lot of free time, so i've decided to start a new timeline. But i'm in doubt which to do, so i made this thread.

This thread will be to timeline-planning and the poll about which timeline i will make. Now i'll explain the options:

The Blood in the Rivers: Amazon Jidai
The crucial livestock in the Americas doesn't go extinct, and the native american technology substantially increases in relation with OTL, along with the prosperity of the Amazon Basin civilizations, after hundreds of years of peace and tranquility in the region, the nation of Itá'imtyba wants to end the established order and make itself dominant in the region, sparking a series of wars in the region for this purpose, external intervention from the increasing empire of the Tawantisuya and the europeans will change the balance in the wars. The result? We'll see.

Vive les Marquis! A Canadien Timeline
Blenheim goes different and France marches on Vienna, the Netherlands are swept away and Prussia finds itself in a uncomfortable position, suing for peace. The war goes monotonous, until the death of Queen Anne, when a jacobite rebellion happens and forces the UK to ask for peace. After that, the Marquis of Vaudreil, governor of New France, begins a great process of development in the colony, with a boom in population, your son continues the job, and the Marquises of Vaudreuil effectively set up what would be known in France as the "Colonial Monarchy". And it will be a great and surprising player in the end of the 18th century.

An Age of Wars: The Franco Dutch Alliance
The Peace of Barcelona guarantees portuguese independence under the terms of the OTL Restoration War. The Dutch metropolis pours A LOT of money into WIC and VOC, New Holland can survive, and the spaniards decide it would be a good idea to enter the competition in the East Indies. They promote a invasion of Johor and VOC obviously intervenes and gets them out of there. And with this manages to just annex all of Johor to the company's domains. The two Cromwells are able to keep the Commonwealth United and Republican, but with the clear intervention and boldness of the Dutch companies in their actions, the Netherlands eventually gain a coalition due to their overpower. (With New Holland succeeding, it has basically sugar monopoly and decide who enters Indonesia or not). And so comes the Grand Alliance, made up of Portugal, Spain, The Commonwealth of Great Britain and Ireland and Austria, France is also invited for the alliance, but don't responds the call. Louis XIV sees this as a clear opportunity to have a strong allied navy, and soon contacts the Republic about a possible secret alliance between the two. Seeing itself completely diplomatically isolated, the Republic accepts and together with France plans for a preemptive strike against the coalition. This preemptive strike took place on 22 October, 1662. In response to hostilities to dutch trade by the Spanish. Nothing less than a total invasion of Cuba, with the island capitulating to WIC forces in just over a month. The coalition responds with war, but the french and dutch responds with a invasion of the Austrian Netherlands. The King Louis' War begins, and with it, the Age of Wars.

All interesting ideas. One small nitpick. Jidai means era and doesn't refer only to the Sengoku Jidai. Sengoku means warring states. So if you mean a bunch of Amazon states fighting each other similar to the Sengoku Jidai, you should call it Amazon Sengoku.

"Vive les Marquis! A Canadien Timeline" is most interesting to me if by "great and surprising player in the end of the 18th century" you mean that French Canada will intervene in the ARW against Britain because that would be a nice twist on New France scenarios.

This part i know, i just put the "Jidai" because sounds better after the word "Amazon" :p

Oh man. That's not fair. Your lack of fate is disturbing.

Member the curse of the fallen wood pyramids of Amazon basin and maybe you think twice about it.
