Polish colonization of Africa WI

Obviously, Britain and France would want Germany's African colonies for themselves, not for a Polish state that had just been created and was facing enormous difficulties just establishing itself, securing satisfactory borders, dealing with a substantial non-Polish population within its own territory, etc. It was in no position to rule an African empire as well. And in addition, remember that Lloyd George didn't have a particularly high opinion of the Poles; he reportedly said that giving Silesia to Poland would be like giving a clock to a monkey... But even if he had thought the Poles would make great colonial administrators, why in the world give up strategic gains for his own country (Tanganyika for example filled the gap in "Cape-to-Cairo") in favor of the Poles?

Anyway, AFAIK this is the closest Poland came to African colonization (and it was not very close):

  • Liberia: Liberian and Polish governments had good relations because of Polish support for Liberia in the League of Nations. In the fall of 1932, the League of Nations drafted a plan which projected turning Liberia into a protectorate, governed by one of members of the League. The plan was the result of internal policies of Liberia, where slavery was widespread. Since Poland was not regarded by the Liberians as a country which had colonial aspirations, in late 1932 unofficial envoy of Liberian government, dr Leo Sajous, came to Warsaw to ask for help. On April 1933, an agreement was signed between Liberia and the Maritime and Colonial League. The Africans agreed to lease minimum of 60 hectares of land to Polish farmers, for a period of 50 years. Polish businesses were awarded the status of the most favoured nation, and Warsaw was permitted to found a society to exploit natural resources of Liberia. Liberian government invited settlers from Poland in 1934. Altogether, the Liberians granted to Polish settlers 50 plantations, with total area of 7,500 acres (3,035 ha). In the second half of 1934, six Polish farmers left for Liberia: Gizycki, Szablowski, Brudzinski, Chmielewski, Januszewicz and Armin. The project was not fully supported by the Polish government but rather by the Maritime League; only few dozens of Poles took on that offer (because of Liberian requests that the settlers should bring significant capital) and their ventures proved to be, on the most part, unprofitable. The original of the agreement has been lost, but, according to some sources, there was a secret protocol that allowed Poland to draft 100,000 African soldiers. The Polish involvement in Liberia was harshly opposed by the United States of America, creator of the nation of Liberia. As a result of American pressure, in 1938 the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs closed the office of the Maritime and Colonial League in Monrovia.[1][10] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonization_attempts_by_Poland

Polish navy would need blessing of germans and Russians to get anywhere out of Baltic, so governing an empire from Warsaw is a nonstarter

However WI a lot of poles migrate to south Africa in the aftermath of napoleonic wars ? Is that possible ?
And later on form their polish south west African republic in the aftermath of WW1 ?

Why UK and France would give any colonies to Poland when they have themselves conquered them? And I doubt that Poland even would had wanted any colonies. It hadn't economical resources supply anything outside of its borders and it was geographically in terrible place. From Baltic Sea it is very difficult keep any colony speciality with very short shoreline.

I read on some forum that Spain was willing to sell Equatorial Guinea? No idea if that was true (it was a wank thread about WI the richest American was of Polish origin and left all his money to Polish state, and what they could do about it).
So assuming that rich uncle from America gives Poland so much cash it doesn't know what to do with it, and the Spanish are indeed willing to sell...

With such a small colony it would be basically nothing happens until WW2, when this is where Polish government, gold reserves, and civilian refugees begin moving in - although it would be a rather poor place to be, tbh, especially initially. Later on it could become Polish micro-Taiwan. With Poles possibly outnumbering the locals, and large number of single men which would have to lead to mixed marriages, it would avoid decolonization (especially as these men have plenty of military experience). It would be rather poor place at least until the oil is discovered (although if the Government in exile refuses to send its gold back to the homeland, things might become more interesting)
