This is a collaborative timeline project with a POD of Jan 1st 1890. Similar to XXth Century and 50 years this will be a community project. Please post your events witha date in the form Month/Day/Year (as above) and at least one event per month is requested. I'm not yet sure when this will stop, but a date of Jan 1st 2010 is the latest possible date.
A couple of notes: WWI and the Russian Revolution will happen, but not necessarily at the same time as OTL.
Your starting events are
Mar 5th 1890: Hermann and Jacob Einstein start promoting AC current lighting. Their company will become very sucessful.
[insert date here]: Albert Einstein killed at the battle of the Somme (put this before the 1916 publication of Relativity in OTL).
[insert date here]: Russian Grand Duchesses Olga, Marie, Tatiana and Anastasia arrive in London with the Crown Jewels, Amber Room, fabergé eggs and many other treasures of the crown after being smuggled out by Royalist sympathisers in the revolution.
[insert date here] Marcel Longuet leaves Britain for Canada, first destroying the gravestone of his grandfather Karl Marx to prevent its defilement by fascists.
