So apparently after the first world war there were talks of creating a Pontic Greek and Armenian Federation in land taken from the Ottoman Turks, who made up the majority population of the regions in question.
How likely could it be for this republic to survive had it been given the support of the allies and if the Turks were not able to reconquer it how would the suppressed minority of turks react to the rule of what would likely be a retaliatory Armenian and Greek ruling class.
I really don't want this to turn into an argument over whether or not there was an Armenian Genocide or not. Here on I declare it be called the Armenian "incident", even the most ardent detractors will agree "Something" happened.
