From 1933-1939 What territories (or set of territories) could Germany actually get without starting a war?

From 1939-1945: Assuming no great effect on the general course of the war, what conquest would a general peace allow them to keep?

from 1945 on, what is the biggest Germany could plausibly get? (Austria, lose less of the east to Poland?)

Sudetenland, Austria, Danzig, Memel, Saar.

Depends on the time peace is made. The maximum amount would be the 1914 border with Poland and Lithuania, Sudetenland, Austria and Eupen-Malmedy.

With unconditional surrender in 1945, Germany could at best hope that southern Lower Silesia and Stettin are included with East Germany. Austria is out of the cards I think.

An independent Poland was non-negotiable as far as Allied war aims were concerned. That was the whole reason the war was fought.

The Poles had another port that they poured money into during the 20's and 30's: Gdynia. They could let Danzig go and negotiate extra-territorial rights for the Polish corridor, but that isn't what Hitler wanted. Also, the annexation/protectorate of Czechoslovakia destroyed any chances of getting a fair deal in Poland. Though the Polish were not willing to negotiate, if Germany sticks to the Munich agreement there is definitely a chance that Britain, though probably not France, would work with Germany to work out the Danzig/Corridor situation.
