All right, here's a possible kicker: What if Persia became a Christian nation instead of Muslim? Would that have an additional effect on the Mongol invaders if they decided to come and attack them and create the Il-Khanate? Other than that, I also wonder if there is a slight chance of all Russian principalities under the Golden Horde's control becoming Nestorian or having the Russian Orthodox Church fuse some Nestorian practices in response to its other Rus' lands absorbed by Poland and Lithuania and possibly creating the Greek Catholic Uniate Church? The Russians or in this case, the Golden Horde might call it the Jochid Orthodox Uniate Church. Jochid meaning that it would still be in communion with the Patriarchate of Moscow but it would combine both Orthodox and Nestorian rites.

Actually, a Poland-Bohemian commonwealth is better than the OTL Poland Lithuania and it's borders will be near the Oder-Neisse while Lithuania-Rus or Lithuania and Catholic Rus state becomes the Buffer states against the Mongols.

I think the Khazars would be the most likely. The weren't really one of the hordes, but they were Mongol/Tatar/Whatever. And they converted to judaism, after considering which they felt were advantageous, Christianity, Judaism or Islam. Historically they chose Judaism because theyy thought it would make them rich. If Jews in Europe at the time weren't as commercially successful, or if the Christians used the 'bringers of civilisation' argument and it won favor, the Khazars could become Christian plausibly.

Go back a bit further and you could have a Christian Persia proselytizing Christianity to the Gokturk Dynasty. One good way for the Jews of Europe to not become rich enough would be to extend the Dark Ages to the point where it would be very hard to get wealthy. Beware that if the Khazars were to go Christian or the Gokturks, it would have another effect on Svyatoslav since he would not be able to conquer the Khazarian Empire now.

You could also have the Kipchaks go Christian. They're also a Turkic tribe like the Khazars, but they could potentially last longer. Assuming that both Kievan Rus' and the Kipchaks live a bit longer after the Mongol invasion.
