Plausibility of an advanced civilization in Britannia.

Is plausible imagine in Britannia between VII and I century BC a civilization more advanced that in OTL,
sophisticated like that Greek?
An urbanized and advanced civilization with written litterature, great figurative art, philosophy, theater like in Greece and Italy?
And how?

I don't see it imposible for a civilization in Britannia to be more advance than in OTL, but I can hardly see it becoming as civilizated as Greece. Why? Because Greece was very close to the Middle East, one of the starting points of civilization and where many other advanced civilized states where. And as contact between Civilization make them become more advanced, because of the spread of knowledge, the Geographic situation of Britannia is going to make that contact and exchange more difficult.

Not to mention a steady flow of invaders wiping out the previous set of invaders, and so on and so on. This happened with such regularity that Britannia (and Hibernia) has structures throughout the British Isles that the people of Britannia during the Roman Conquest had no knowledge of them. That is, the people who built such structures or how they did it.
