Plausibility Check: the Re-establishment of the east india company.

Hi chaps, working privately on a timeline in which at one point there is a very big war resulting from an anglo-french intervention in an ACW. While looking a bit into what the ideological fall out would be I wondered if it would be possible to re-establish the BEIC in some form or another. TTL the british government would be capable of supporting the idea ideologically but I don't know enough about the subject to say whether it would be practical or not.

So my request is, can you give me your ideas/thoughts on the reestablishment of the BEIC in a timeline more similar to OTL and the problems that would be involved?

thanks

What's the context for it going away in the first place? In OTL it was replaced with the British Raj, and there's no reason for almost anyone in Britain to want to go back to company rule of India. If it was forcibly dismantled in some war, sure, why not reinstate it when it can be useful again.

It is completely implausible. By dissolution the BEIC was considered both a system of corrupt rule and a mismanaged enterprise that cost the UK purse vast amounts in continued bailouts. The only thing that kept it going was a combination of status quo bias and bribes to MPs.
