Plausibility Check: More successful revolutions of 1848 leads to very different Europe

Partially inspired by this, but adds additional PODs: https://www.alternatehistory.com/fo...venes-on-hungarys-behalf-in-1848-1849.414867/

1) Russia intervenes to support Hungary in the 1848 revolution, and wins. Hungary is established as an independent nation and Russia annexes Galicia. Austria is reduced to Austria, Bohemia, Slovenia, and Trieste.

2) Frederick William IV accepts the "crown from the gutter." Germany is unified. In OTL the Frankfurt Parliament ended up supporting the Großdeutsche Lösung, but Austria refused to join because they did not want to give up their land in the East. In TTL, when they had already lost Hungary and Galicia, they would be willing to do so. All that they would have to give up is Trieste. As a result, a more liberal Germany is established containing OTL imperial Germany, Austria, Bohemia, and Slovenia.

3) Italian revolutionaries are more successful in trying to unify Italy as Austria doesn't intervene against them. They can also point to German unification and gain more support that way. Likely they would succeed, but if they don't you can delay the French revolution of 1848. Without Napoleon III France likely wouldn't intervene against the Italian rebels leading to an almost sure chance of success.

4) In total, by 1850, Italy would be unified, Germany unified including Austria, and Hungary Independent.

I wonder if Russia in Hungary means all-European war. If they are in Hungary what stops them from turning south toward the straits? The Quadruple Alliance of UK, France, Prussia, Austria push Russia back. Prussia unites North Germany, Austria regains Hungary and Galicia (as Austria-Hungary), Russia also loses Bessarabia and the Black Sea fleet.

Italy? Who knows? A Republic with the French in Rome? Maybe later it goes Bonapartist. W/o Austria as the common foe, what is the draw of the House of Savoy when you have the alternative of a republic?

Well, no way the Gendarme of Europe would support Hungarian revolution.

It would be better if Nicholas I suffers a nasty tuberculosis and thus Russia could not intervene. Besides, move the 1838 Polish uprising to 1848 would help a lot.

A new Napoleonic era with a Russian Napoleon? Really interesting. But if the Russians have seized Hungary and are moving south, can alliance form before the Russians take Constantinople and secure the Black Sea? I rather doubt it especially in the anarchy of 1848. It took the Anglo-French-Ottomans years to take Sevestavol. how are they going to fare against the Russians in the straits with an Orthodox Balkans rallying to their side?

How long can such a coalition hold? France would quickly realize that she was fighting a war that would benefit others- Austria and Prussia more than herself. Does she really want to see a united North Germany under Prussian control? do the smaller North Germans states really want to be swallowed up by Prussia? And then see this power augmented by annexing chunks of Russia?

Or would France seek to benefit herself? Maybe secure the Rhine and Belgium? How does Britain and Prussia react to that?

I see coaltions forming and then quickly falling apart as the victors constantly squabble among themselves over the spoils
