Plausibility Check: French neo-fascist movement in late 1960s/early 70s

With regards to France during the war the French were no better or worse than the Belgians or Dutch. A small minority actively collaborated (informers, police etc.) a even smaller minority actively resisted and an overwhelming majority (85%+) did nothing and stayed "neutral".
Naturally after the war everyone who sat on the fence turned out to have secretly been with the Maquis and every collaborator was actually undercover undermining the Vichy regime from the inside, that is just human nature.

A worse 1968 with left-wing terrorism would probably have given an impetus for authoritarian movements outside Gaullism, and there were actually neo-fascist movements in the late 1960, like Occident or Jeune Nation, or the Parti des Forces Nouvelles, which could have been a significant force within the Right. Some top ministers from the UMP (Gérard Longuet, hervé Novelli, Alain Devedjian), began their political careers by wiedling iron bars for the Occident movement.
