Pi Glilot attack successful

I have had a look at the PI Glilot site and other than the roads than run nearby the there are no major urban areas bordering it

Historically fuel depot fires while devastating tend to kill and injure those in the plant itself

The Buncefield depot fire happened at the end of the garden of some friends of mine - and they watched it from their bedroom (before being evacuated)

The most devastating fire of this type that I am aware of is the Tianjin explosion in 2015 which injured or killed nearly all of the responders on the site tackling the blaze but this was due not to a fuel explosion but the detonation of 800 tons of Ammonia Nitrate being kept illegally on the site without the knowledge of the authorities - or at least those that needed to know. It was basically a 800 ton fertiliser bomb.

So I remain skeptical that this attack would have caused many, if any, casualties outside of the plant itself - the claim of 10,000 casualties I think is serious exaggeration
