Istanbul, 2020. Capital city of the Ottoman Empire.
Since narrowing winning the Ottoman-Pact War of 1938 and surviving the Second Weltkrieg, the Ottoman Empire has grown to be a progressive and largely secular nation. While not a member of the Reichspakt and any of the other political blocs, it's neutrality is the reason why it has become prosperous, doing business with syndicalists and capitalists alike, but also acting a mediator for the world's major factions, much like Ireland or Ethiopia.
Since the WK2, the empire has made huge social progress, quickly becoming a liberal constitutional monarchy which helped eased ethnic tensions and help foster a pan-Ottoman identity for the nation, rather then a Turkish-centric culture. The city is regarded as one of the most cosmopolitan in the world, with Turks, Greeks, Kurds, Syrians and many other ethnic groups and religions living side by side. The city is particularly popular with German backpackers visiting from the Kaiserreich.
