Pacific States Army troops run for cover as an AUS MG position opens fire, Louisiana, 1938. The body of one of their fallen comrades lays in the mud, most likely a victim of a prior attack. The photographer was among those over-run by a counter-attack shortly after and summarily executed by AUS troops, along with a number of POWs.

PSMC troops on watch during the siege of Las Vegas. The city was, surprisingly, one of the longest holdouts of the war, despite its disadvantageous position.

S.Sgt. Jonathan Huxley shows the rifle that he used to score an astounding 40 kills in 20 minutes during the battle of Florida. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions in securing the beachhead.

Pacific States Air Force crew cheer upon hearing the radio proclamation of Peace Day, April 1941. The PSAF was scheduled to launch the largest air attack in history against MacArthur’s last holdouts in the DC area, but the surrender of the Federalist remnants rendered the attack useless.

Tanks from the 4th Armored Division roll down the streets of Boston during the Peace Day celebrations. The division was among the first to move east across the PSA border and suffered 80% casualties total during the war.

The “Denver Trials” began in August 1941. On the stand were numerous generals, leaders, and collaborators from the former factions. Their charges - breach of international laws of warfare, crimes against humanity, crimes against the peace, and high treason against the Constitution and people of the United States. Guards were forced to intervene multiple times as fistfights broke out between the defendants - in total, 39 were sentenced to execution, 28 were sentenced to life in prison, 27 were given to sentences of 10-25 years in prison, and 3 were acquitted.

President Alfred Landon, often touted as the Second Lincoln giving his famous "America Shall Pervail" Speech in Denver after the fall of DC and the Kentucky retreat essentially withdrawing forces from the states of Virginia,Maryland,Kentucky and Tennesse, when Federal Morale was the lowest. He would go onto lead America through the war, ending in 1941, the begginings of the massive second reconsturction (which lays at the core of the modern American Politics), and aligining the US with the Entente in the international Cold War against the Russian Empire and New Syndicalists of South America.

US Rangers wait aboard a troop ship on the southern coast of Ireland, 12 hours before D-Day - June 1958. In three hours they will be loaded onto LCVPs that will take them directly onto the beach. The landings would officially begin the ground phase of the Liberation War; on D-Day, the North American Alliance would field the second-largest amphibious force in human history.

H-Hour, D-Day. US soldiers wade onto the shores of Wales under heavy fire from Union of Britain forces. The beach code-named Albany saw some of the bloodiest fighting of the entire campaign.

Canadian troops begin crawling through the beach obstacles west of Fishguard, Wales. About 30% of the Canadian Expeditionary Forces were composed of British exiles and their descendants. Some exiled Britons, old enough to remember their homeland before the Syndicalist takeover, were eager for combat but were too old to fight; instead they served invaluable positions in forward hospitals and supply depots.

Here is a map of Kaiserreich: Free World, a scenario where democracy reigns supreme in the world of Kaiserreich, on Sunday, January 1, 1950.

    upload_2019-9-15_14-31-14.png

In 1936 and 1937, numerous events transpired that tipped the balance of global politics in favor of liberal democracy, such as the Russian Senate taking control over Russia after the assassination of President Kerensky, the establishment of the Republic of Iran, the Ramírez Coup in Argentina, the rise of President Juan Andreu Almazán in Mexico, the establishment of the Republic of Poland, the elections in Norway, Sweden, Brazil and the Italian Republic, the establishment of the Republic of Serbia, the Lawrence Coup in the Union of Britain and the restoration of the United Kingdom, the 1937 Ausgleich, the rise of the Liberal Pact in Central America, the victory of the Greek Republicans in the Greek Referendum, the outbreak of the Ottoman-Axis War, , the rise of Mahatma Gandhi in the Bharatiya Commune and the subsequent negotiations with the Dominion of India and the Indian re-unification, among others. It was also in 1937 that other important wars broke out. These included both the Second American Civil War and the Spanish Civil War. In the Second American Civil War, the federal government of President Floyd B. Olson fought against both the Combines Syndicates of America and the American Union State, and would eventually emerge victorious. In the Spanish Civil War, the Kingdom of Spain would eventually emerge victorious. However, the most important war to break out in 1937 was the Second Welktrieg, which began on September 14, 1937 over the Savoyard Crisis in Switzerland. The Third Internationale consisted of only the Commune of France under Marcel Déat and the Socialist Republic of Italy under Benito Mussolini, and was thus isolated from the rest of the world, even from other socialist countries. After a long stalemate on the western front of the war, the French occupation of Belgium and parts of Germany and after the Commonwealth of Canada and the Entente declared war on the Third Internationale, things were finally starting to turn in the favor of the both he Reichspakt and the Entente. In 1939, Marseilles fell to National France and in 1940, Paris finally fell to the British, German and National French Armies. On October 25, 1940, with the signing of the Treaty of Bern, the war was finally over after over three years of conflict. Soon after the end of the war, rifts began to emerge between the Reichspakt and the Entente, with the Reichspakt representing monarchist and conservative democracy and the Entente mostly representing both monarchist and republican liberal democracy. Other alliances also emerged as challengers to both the Reichspakt and the Entente, such as the Russian Alliance led by the Russian Republic, the Donau-Adriabund/Danube-Adriatic Alliance led by the Danubian Federation, the Cairo Pact led by the Sultanate of the Egypt, the Belgrade Pact led by Serbia, the Buenos-Aries Lima Pact led by Argentina and the Andean Pact led by Colombia. Major independent powers include the United States of America, the Republic of India, the Qing Empire of China, the Republic of China, the Empire of Japan, the Republic of Persia and the Federative Republic of Brazil. The only non-democratic nations in the world are Portugal, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Libya, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Afghanistan. As the year of 1950 and the decade of the 1950s dawns, what happens next is anyone's guess.

Canadian medics patch up a wounded Syndicalist militiaman, 1960. Normally Syndicalist forces would fight to the death rather than surrender, encouraged by propaganda tales of torture, enslavement and castration; however, the ones who did surrender - though many were shot trying to fake surrendering - found themselves taken to relative comfort in POW camps in Ireland.

Marine Captain Francis Fenton is photographed during a lull in the Battle of Sausage Grinder Ridge, 1959. The “thousand-yard-stare” became commonplace to all forces stationed on the front lines. Between partisan attacks, suicide bombings conducted by children of the Young Workers organization, and mass charges by the British Worker’s Liberation Army, the strain left hundreds of thousands of veterans afflicted with mental trauma.

Canadian troops on the move, D+5, 1958. During the first few days after the invasion, the beachhead was stuck in a stalemate and was in danger of being thrown back into the sea; however, a daring gamble by Canadian troops managed to outflank the Syndicalist forces and allowed a breakthrough into Wales.
