Huey Long was the leader of the American Union States, and his legacy is very controversial.
Unknown-4.jpeg

Some say, like Savinkov, he had good intentions, but eventually became corrupted by the people around him. Others say he was a demagogue who abused his power and ran a regime of corruption. Apologists point out that he "shared the wealth" and also built nice roads and infrastructure in the South.
He met his end during a battle with CSA troops, where in the government building of Tallahassee, apparently resigned to his fate, carried a bible, while drinking whiskey. He was killed in chaos. In recent years, his image is beginning to be re-thought, as a person put in a bad situation and manipulated, doing an ill fated attempt to save the Nation, while macarthur is portrayed as a "warlord bourgeois maniac."

George Valois with some of his Sorelian/Totalist supporters, 1936. Valois would go on to succeed Sébastien Faure later that same year, winning a surprising election victory against Travailleur Marceau Pivert, who was originally seen by many to have been “Faure’s heir”.

Two years after his defeat to Georges Valois in the election, Pivert was arrested for “counter-revolutionary acts”, and was later executed. This was part of Valois’ purging of non-Sorelianist/non-Totalist sections of the CGT, and by the time the most active part of the purge was over, only the Sorelians/Totalists (and those who defected into their ranks, such as the Jacobins) remained in the CGT.

Photo taken at the signing of the Lateran Pacts in Rome (1931), where both the italian federation and the socialist repubblic of italy recognized each other sphere of influence and agreed to sign a non-aggression pact
Unlike other totalist powers Mussolini' s socialist republic tended to respect the Church's power and freedom most of the time, even using some passage of the bible in its daily propaganda
This can be explained by the fact that most southern italians were still deeply religious even while living under sindacalist rule and that Mussolini was afraid of their reaction if he started to persecute religious organisations like Mosley and Valois were doing in the same period.

Valois' decision to invade the Italian Federation and Imperial Germany at the same time can be explained considering the extremly low opinion of Mussolini that he had develloped after the signing of the Lateran Pacts: in his eyes Mussolini had betrayed sindacalist ideas and sided with a bourgeois istitution, who blocked the road to the complete liberation of the workers from their chains and for this reason he couldn't be trusted in any way ( some documents found after the liberation of France seem to suggest Valois was planning to kill Mussolini after the conquest of North Italy and replace him with a more radical leader)

one problem here, it was revealed in one of my posts that the South of italy was conqured by the North, this would controdict that.

Yeah but the latheran pacts were signed Before the second weltkrieg.
Basically when Valois attacked the North Mussolini followed him fearing that he would be excluded by the spoils of war if he didn't and expexting a quick victory but of course this backfired once France started retreatiang
What i have written is only only the first part
of the italian front during the war

Photos of racist assholes in CSA, Identity Evropa. Due to free speech and their claims to be a "National Syndicalist" group, (only one of those is accurate, these guys are completely third position in reality.) They claim to be nationalist leftists saving "white" America.
images-1.jpeg

Thankfully they have been seen as a joke in the Combined Syndicates, which has a very high racial equality. Nevertheless, they are a occasional annoyance to the politics there, with their leader Richard Spencer. They have a slogan, "Mussolini did nothing wrong"
Sidenote, I tried to figure out what an "Alt Right" would look like in the Syndicates. This is horshoe theory stuff. The views are only different in terms of economics, with these guys basically worse nazbols.

Compliments.
You made me like a post about the CSA

Mussolini.jpg

Photo taken during Mussolini's declaration of war against the Italian Federation, following the start of "Operation Bluebeard" by the Comune of France and Union of Britain (1941).
According to some sources, Mussolini was taken by surprise by the french invasion of the north ( apparently being informed about it a few hours before it started) and in a first moment he was hesitant about what he should have done.
This esitation was short-lived however: ignoring the latheran pacts, he sided with Valois and Mosley (ironically both men were a bigger danger to him than the Italian federation), expecting a quick victory and an expansion of his territory, and he declared war against the Etente and the Kaiserreich.

A classical example of an"Irish cocktail" : this weapons was created during the WK2 by the irish resistance against Mosley's invasion of ireland.
A populare urban legend about is creation is that he was invented by a bartender of Dublin who used it to destroy his pub , occupated by soldiers of the UoB, rather than leave it to them
Other names includes: "Dublin's drink", "The kiss of Brida"(the celtic godness of fire) or "Cynthia" ( Mosley's wife and foreign minister)

theg*ddam*hoi2fan and President Earl Warren is this part ok or do i have to change something (especially the part about istambul/costantinople)?
Also i have a question about Mittleafrika: did it collapse violently or was it peaceful?
Also are all german colonies indipendents now or some of them are like Algeria?

Also what about Pirtugal's colonies?

request__flag_of_united_earth_fed_by_generalhelghast-d58nlsz.png

Flag of the United Earth Empire(ooc: an alt-federation essentially), the main governing body in the Mobile Suit Gundam Trilogy(ooc: meaning not the three compilation movies, but Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and Mobile Suit Omega Gundam, which is alt-Gundam ZZ) by Yoshiyuki Tomino. The anime trilogy takes place in an alternate timeline where the American Union State won the second civil war, and Germany and an increasingly authoritarian Entente joined forces to defeat the Internationale, and were then engaged in a Cold War with the National Populist bloc led by Pelleyite AUS and Russia. This culminated in a cataclysmic nucelar war between the League of Nations and the Eurasian Alliance that saw the League of Nations presiding over a devastated world. The League of Nations reformed into a one world government--the United Earth Empires, a worldwide constitutional monarchy, and started a period of Space Colonization, hearlding in the era of the Universal Century.

However, the construction of Space colonies only ushered in a new age of warfare. Because the nuclear war devastated much of the planet, there were not enough resources to sustain the population. This lead to a forced population transfer of the lower class into the space colonies to work to provide a source of resources via asteroid mining and food production. Eventually the colonies start to demand independence. However, while there are genuine reformers in the world congress that want to give the Colonies more autonomy, they are held back by the structural problems within the Empire. The government is tilted more towards conservatives and the nobility, which often opposes independence. Furthermore, the Empire is a very decentralized system prone to regionalism, with certain regions, mainly those either dominated by conservatives or are economically reliant on the colonies being much more hostile towards the Space colonies getting any independence having an excessive amount of dominance. This led to an unholy alliance of conservative nobility, business interests, administrative regions that are against greater autonomy for the colonies, as well as outright Terran supremacists, that stifile independence movements in the Colonies. The failure of the Empire to deal with these structural problems will lead to it's collapse at the end of Mobile Suit Omega Gundam

The portrayal of the Empire as bogged down by regionalism and surviving nationalism giving way to political corruption has led to accuations directed Tomino of implicit Syndicalist or pro-CSA/Internationale bias, through Tomino has denied this, rather wanting a narrative where both sides in a war could be seen as "wrong", with the soldiers fighting either for survival or for ideals that may be perverted by the leadership or by circumstance. In this case the soldiers of the Empire are portrayed as fighting not just to defend Earth, but also to defend the ideals the Empire was founded on despite the failure of the government to achieve such ideals, or even to defend the sovereignty of their administrative regions, which they fear would be taken away from them by a more centralized and totalitarian government. The Leader of the Imperial Space forces in Mobile Suit Gundam, Grand Admiral Revil, is presented as an reformer who wants to centralize the Empire, but to use that power to carry out sweeping reforms to oust more conservative factions and give the colonies more autonomy.

OOC: Essentially I made alt-federation a bit more "relatable" to say the least rather than a monolithic bloc of oiligarchs that are effectively what we would call maliciously incompentent for the sake of being maliciously incompentent with little to no characterization than greenlighting the Titans and letting people die for the sake of population control. It's still a highly corrupt and oppressive entity, but the reasons for it's corruption are grounded in a lot of factors such as being VERY dysfunctional and prone to internal squabbling(let's just say this alt-federation would have collapsed a long time ago had it not been the fear of Zeon rebellions to interval divisions and the decentralization) instead of being maliciously incompentent for the sake of it, so in a sense it's a bit more "pitable" than the OTL federation, also EFSF soldiers are given reasons to fight for the alt-federation the same way Zeon soldiers do in both OTL and TTL despite Zeon being a Savinkovist and Nazi entity in TTL and OTL respectively instead of just fighting against Zeon because they're the "protagionists" and Zeon is "invading". Also the forced population transfers are given at least a bit more sympathetic context(the whole Earth being a near wasteland and resources being almost depleted), even if they are not justified.

zeon_order_by_solgravionmegazord-dbwds7o.png

OOC: I did not use the original Zeon flag because Nazism dosen't exist in TTL so had to grab some other varient. Also the Zeon symbol in the First Order flag does kinda make it look like a Savinkovist flag.....

Flag of the Duchy of Zeon(ooc: No, it's not called the principality here), formerly the Republic of Zeon. Zeon was once comprised of the colonies of Sector 3(ooc: Side 3), but they declared independence from the Empire after a successful rebellion by the populist republican Zeon Zum Deikun. Deikun declared the formation of the Republic of Zeon and established the ideology of Contolism--mainly the idea that humanity must leave earth and all live in space to allow the earth to heal, and that humanity in space will evolve into a "new type" of being that can transcend petty nationalisms and embrace understanding. However he was killed by Imperial "loyalists" led by the noble Degwin von Zabi. It turns out however, Degwin was using the Empire as a pawn to facilitate the consolidation of his own power and in a span of few years declared the Duchy of Zeon, cut off all relations with the Empire, and prepared to launch a war of independence.....

However, others in his government has much more sinister goals, in particular his eldest son, Gihren von Zabi. An admirer of national populist ideology, Gihren gradually, through political manuverings, would gradually subvert his father's powers to turn Zeon into a Legionary state with the goal of dominating all of the Earth Sphere and destroying the "inferior Earthnoids". Unknown to any of the Zabis however, the surviving son of the Deikun family--Casval Rem Deikun has secretly infiltrated the military as Char Aznable--the Red Knight of Zeon, and seeks to destroy the dutchy from within to avenge his father.....

While Zeon are portrayed as the "antagionists", and Gihren and his Savinkovist ideology is seen as wholly villainous, the greviences that drove Spacenoids to in Sector 3 to side with Zeon or overlook Gihren's racist ideology is seen as legitimate. Zeon soldiers are presented as well-rounded individuals, not all of them being national populist fanatics, with many being unware of the perversion of the independence war that Gihren is doing behind the scenes. Even some of the Zabis themselves are presented as sympathetic, with the character of Garma von Zabi and Dozle von Zabi objecting to the worst of the atrocities being carried out; the former even being seen as having a genuine desire to achieve reconcilation with the Earth Sphere while the latter is presented as a loving father(ooc: Yeah this will probably cause the same issues OTL, but less militaristic Japan + more relatable federation--I mean Empire and their soldiers also being treated the same way as Zeek grunts as fighting for a higher ideal, abeit perverted or corrupted ones themselves may mean less Zeon apologia, furthermore making every Zeon mustache twirling national populist villains just to weaken Zeon apologia kinda kills the point of gundam IMHO, so I tried to avoid that)
