The Secret Intelligence Service (SIS or MI6) headquarters. MI6 was responsible for providing intel to Her Majesty's government of threat of the undead towards Britain and her allies. As a result, Operation Stoneferry was carried out of by the United Kingdom Special Forces to eradicate the undead festering within Commonwealth countries. The operation was done in conjunction with the United States own clandestine operation called Operation Midnight Talon, which saw Tier One operators from JSOC to neutralize outbreaks before the regular military could mobilized. Subsequently, MI6 also shared intelligence with the Five Eyes members on how to deal with the zombies.

WWZ Year One - The Great Panic
Location - New York City

Three police officers in downtown New York assist a woman in her mid to late 30s who had reported to officers of being bitten by a child earlier in the day on her way to work, and had told the police officers that she thought nothing of it as a light scratch and went about her daily business feeling more and more unwell as the day went on. Given the fact the officers have supplied this unnamed woman with oxygen and are within close proximity of her, they clearly are not aware of the danger that is about to unfold in front of them.

This photo may have been taken more moments before her eventual collapse and slow renimation as a walking corpse due to the use of oxygen needed to keep her upright.

star-wars-episode-vii-fan-logo-slice.jpg

A logo for the upcoming 2030 film Star Wars Episode VII. Which is to be produced by Lucasfilms and Universal Pictures. The Trilogy would consist of Episodes VII as well as VIII (Planned for 2033), and IX (Planned for 2036).

The trilogy is set over fifty years after the end of Return of the Jedi. The trilogy would follow the rebuilt Galactic Republic and Luke’s New Jedi Order, both are seen having disagreements over the direction of the galaxy, but this is all interrupted by the appearance of a mysterious Sith Cult. The films would follow the grandchildren of of Luke Skywalker and Leia and Han Solo.

The Sequel Trilogy was originally planned by George Lucas as early as 1976, but was cancelled in 1981. It was revived when the Walt Disney Company acquired LucasArts in 2011, but development was put on hold seemingly indefinitely due to the Great Panic and the eventual War Against the Zeds.

It was once again revived in 2026 when Lucas’ daughter Katie reestablished LucasArts and negotiated with Universal Studios to produce and release the films.

Along with the announced Sequel Trilogy are two upcoming tv shows, one following Boba Fett between the events of Revenge of the Sith to Empire Strikes Back, and following the events of Return of the Jedi. And one following Obi-Wan Kenobi between Episodes III and IV. There is talks about about a potential live-action series following Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano in the aftermath of Order 66.

WWZ - 7 years after World V Day
Location - The Pacific Ocean

One of the greatest, and most potential causes of a full scale outbreak that could one day possibly bring full scale disaster to a country or indeed the world, is the ever continuing presence of the undead on the ocean floor. Across many lakes, swamps, canals, rivers, ponds and oceans across the globe, the undead lie waiting at the bottom of these bodies of water. It is a natural fear of humanity to not enter large bodies of water since the end of WWZ and the slow rebuilding of society, but an ever present question is how long does humanity have until one of the dead resurface and attack the living, to begin the nightmare all over again?

Luckily and thankfully the movements of the dead on the ocean floors are constantly surveyed and tracked by teams of experts who routinely scan the bottom of the deep via submarines and robotic art for any potential shifts in currents or movements of heards on the sandy decks of the dark depths. They are then tagged via electronic devices which monitor their movements as underwater warfare against the undead is far too dangerous and costly to contemplate.

Seen here is a clean image without wording from a famous poster. The image was captured of an infected individual buried by the sands of the ocean floor. The poster is normally supplemented with the caption "Do not swim or be dead. They lie in wait".

Anyone caught trespassing next to known infected bodies of water such as beaches are normally fined a nominal amount in their countries own currency.

ROK Army personnel in the DMZ during the Great Panic. Most of the ROK military was deployed to the DMZ over fears of a North Korean invasion on the insistence of the Ministry of Defense, thus making it harder for dealing with the infected that were affecting South Korean major cities. Due to the shortage of manpower, the ROK military suffered major defeat in Incheon akin to the Battle of Yonkers.

an ocean had thousands of feet the zombies would been crushed like a can might been possible.
For some MacGuffin, the Solanum Virus causes zombies to be immune from the effects of underwater pressure. That's why hordes of zombies still roam the ocean floor after VC Day.
Memory serves me right it is. Its also explored in the Zombie Survival guide also written by Max Brooks
Yeah, there were cases of underwater zombies in ZSG.
